Upon hearing Solveig’s ministry, Lynda and Russ decided to share her music with Bill Gaither to see if he would be interested in letting her sing at one of the Home Coming concerts in the USA. Bill graciously opened the doors for her, upon their warm recommendation, and she was welcomed to be apart of the concerts in Beaumont, Lubbock and San Antonio, TX Sept. 15-17. Shortly after this, Russ Taff called Solveig to let her know Bill Gaither also wanted her on the video taping in Toronto, Canada the following weekend, if she could make it. So Solveig flew, with husband Ken’s blessings again, this time to Pennsylvania for a Home Coming concert in Wilkes Barre, and joining Lynda’s tour bus for a drive through the night to Toronto, she joined for the live taping Sept.24th, at the Air Canada Arena, with around 16 000 people attending.
