About the 2008 Angel Award, filming in Malibu and Colorado

My mouth dropped as I was re-reading the words from Producer Dan and Raven Rubottom that our music video "All the Way to Heaven" had won the prestigous international 2008 Angel Award,this sunny February morning. My mind went quickly to the scenes of filming at the beach in Malibu, California and mountainous Edwards, Colorado and the wonderful memories I had with Dan & Raven, Katherine, Michael, Wendy,Wayne, Glenn, Marilyn, and the many others who helped make it happen.

The sunset over the beach, the dolphins playing in the waves only a few yards from the shore, the chats with the fascinating South American make up artist with the long ponytail at the fancy shop in the one-and-only Malibu Colony who often worked on super models,(and then little me...) and the fellowship with everyone between the takes.

I can't help but smile when I think of it all, because it was actually REALLY FUN, for not to mention meaningful- when pondering that the songs of worship that we sing here on earth reaches All the way to Heaven, to the glory of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, which is what the song is all about. So here I am in my work out clothes, "semi-grinning" all alone, over the fact that it reached some people who thought it was worth an award. Imagine that.

I called Dan and Raven to congratulate them.
